Hello,
I'm P.H. Lobato, and I built Qenna Writer.
I made this program for myself. Software in this corner of the market has turned into something… alarming, financially speaking. Subscriptions, freemium, paywalls. And after trying a good number of them, the same problem kept coming back: none of them fit. Maybe I was too demanding? Possibly. But something was always missing.
Frustrated, and tired of needing four different programs to write one book, I started building Qenna Writer on my own, from absolute zero.
Knowing nothing about programming, or about how to make any of it work.
Learning from my mistakes, breaking things, fixing them.
I wanted one thing: writing software that gave me everything I wanted, or might ever need. For good.
And when it finally saw daylight, I decided it would be close to a crime to keep it to myself.
So Qenna is public and free today. And it always will be.
I hope it holds up for your work the way it held up for mine. Every function, every tool, every detail of the interface was made to keep the creative process working, intuitive, and fun.
And honestly? I think I got where I wanted to go.
I'm proud of what I built, and I can't wait to see what good stories reach daylight through it.
Enjoy.
Yours,
P.H. Lobato, Guardian of the Lands of Qenna
